Where are our delivery areas? |

For delivery times click here to find out where we deliver. Other areas by request and/or couriers can be arranged. |

How are the meals delivered? |
 |
Your order will be delivered in a polystyrene insulated box. |
Delivery charge

Each order is subject to a delivery charge of $10.00 within our specified delivery areas. Deliveries outside our specified delivery area will be delivery by a courier and are not subject to our delivery charge. |
Box deposit

When required, orders will carry a refundable $5.00 delivery box deposit. We will pick up the delivery box from your previous order each time we deliver and leave your new order in a new box. If your last box is not returned we will charge another box deposit and credit it back to you when the box is next picked up. Unfortunately, if your order is delivered by a courier we cannot offer a refund on the box. Please advise if you wish to provide your own cooler. |

Why have a box deposit? |
 |
Because many people don't return their delivery box. It also helps protect the environment from unnecessary waste. |

What if I'm not home to take delivery? |
 |
Leave special instructions where to leave your order. Your order will be packed to keep your meals at the correct temperature for approximately 6 hours. |
 |
Next day delivery? |
 |
If timeslots are available, we may be able to accomodate your request. Please note that timeslots are allocated on a first come, first served basis as customers submit orders. |
 |
No delivery instructions advised |
 |
If no delivery instructions are given, we will leave the order at your front door. If your front door is highly visible, we would appreciate alternative instructions. Unfortunately, we can take no responsibility for missing orders once we have delivered. |

Unable to follow your delivery instructions |
 |
If we are unable to follow your instructions, we will leave a note in the letterbox or at your front door, advising where we have left your order. If we feel there is no secure place to leave your order and we are unable to contact you we will NOT leave the order. The second delivery will incur another delivery fee. If an animal is in the location where your box is to be placed we will not be able to leave the order. |

Live in a security unit and will not be home |
 |
If you live in a security unit, please make arrangements for our driver to;
- buzz a neighbour to let us in so we can leave your order at your front door,
- access to your garage,
- or provide alternative instructions

Order not received on expected day |
 |
If your delivery has not been received on the confirmed day, please contact CookingforYou.ca within 24 hours to rectify. |
Delivery Policy

What is the condition of purchase? |
 |
The customer will bear all risk in respect of the meals once they have been delivered as per your instructions, unless otherwise agreed in writing prior to delivery. CookingforYou.ca will not be responsible for any loss or deterioration, which occurs subsequent to delivery (due to non-timely collection or otherwise). |

What happens if I don't like your meals? |
 |
If you don't love our meals on your first order will refund your order. If you are not satisfied with an individual meal, we will replace the item with your next order. We would appreciate notification for replacement of meal or a refund within 24 hours of consumption. |

Can I return a meal? |
 |
No. We adhere to HACCP, the preferred industry standard for food safety. Therefore, we are unable to replace a meal that you ordered by mistake. If we packed an incorrect meal, we will credit the missing meal. |

What happens with all my details? |
 |
CookingforYou.ca respects your privacy. We do not sell, rent, or loan any identifiable information regarding our customers to any third party. We may use and share aggregated information when it enables us to improve and enrich our product and content offering. Any information you give us is held with the utmost care and security.

Personal information, i.e. address, contact numbers are only collected when you make a purchase. This information is only used for fulfillment of orders, sending monthly menus, to offer loyalty bonuses, sending customized electronic messages and to service customers by way of telephone.

Your information, i.e. name, address, special delivery instructions are stored on a customer file. We will follow your details and instructions for each order unless you advise us otherwise. Your credit card number we will also be stored unless you advise us otherwise. This financial information is only used to process payments.

OUR FOOD & SERVICE

What is the difference between frozen and chilled ranges? |
 |
Frozen meals are cooked and flash frozen in our state of the art Blast Freezer. Just add salad or vegetables to complete your meal. The full meal is a complete meal of meat and 3 vegetables and just requires heating. Chilled meals are marinated meats and pies ready for you to bake, pan fry or BBQ. Like the frozen meals you add your choice of salad or vegetables. |

How is the chilled range packed? |
 |
All meals are vacuumed sealed. This removes the oxygen, which causes food deterioration and allows a shelf life of up to 10 days. |

How is the frozen range packed? |
 |
Either in plastic or foil containers then snap frozen to -18c. They are stored in a holding freezer until delivery. |
 |
Is there a minimum order? |
 |
A minimum order of $50.00 (not including box deposit or delivery charge) is required for delivery within our specified delivery areas. |
 |
What forms of payment are available? |
 |
Cash, cheque, Visa, and MasterCard. If you are not home, we often pick up cheques from letterboxes and under doormats. To pay by cheque, please register for cheque approval. Please note that all orders are charged in Canadian dollars. |

Can I pick up the order myself? |
 |

Do meals carry heating, cooking, and serving instructions? |
 |
All meals have specific, easy instructions for microwave, oven, stove, or bbq. Serving suggestions are included on each our web site and with your packing slips. |

Are your meals healthy? |
 |
Most of our meals are reduced fat therefore, you can enjoy your dinner even more knowing it's good for you! Reduced fat meals contain at least 25% or less fat than would find in the same or similar meal. All meals show the calories, fat, carbohydrate, and protein levels for each meal. Also, the meals are free from preservative and additives. We do not knowing use genetically modified ingredients in our cooking. We also offer vegetarian meals and many of our meals are wheat and gluten free. |

How do I obtain my free meal for a referral? |
 |
When the person you referred fills out the new user, registration form please ask them to fill in the box that asks the name of the person that referred them to us. When they make their first order, we will arrange for you to receive your free meal with your next order. |
